LabGenda is a scheduling and coordination tool for university lab teams. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information we collect

  • Account data – email address and display name provided via Firebase Authentication.
  • Scheduling data – terms, courses, roster entries, assignments, availability blocks, and coverage requests you create or are assigned to.
  • Usage data – standard server logs including request timestamps and IP addresses for security and debugging purposes.

How we use your information

  • To provide and operate the LabGenda scheduling platform.
  • To authenticate your account via Firebase and associate you with your organization workspace.
  • To notify you of coverage requests and schedule changes relevant to your role.
  • To improve the service and diagnose technical issues.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your scheduling data is visible only to members of your organization workspace within LabGenda. We use Firebase (Google) for authentication; their privacy policy applies to credential handling.

Data retention

Your account and scheduling data is retained for as long as your organization is active on LabGenda. You may request deletion by contacting us.

Security

All connections to LabGenda are encrypted via HTTPS. Authentication is handled through Firebase, which uses industry-standard token-based verification. We do not store passwords.
